Come celebrate the re-opening of the Townley Family Children's Barn at Endicott Park on Thursday, June 23rd., at 5pm!

The Friends of Endicott Park are holding a reception to honor the many donors who contributed to their fundraiser, as well as the Rotary Club of Danvers whose generous donations funded the major upgrades to the Townley Family Children’s Barn at Endicott Park in Danvers.  It is due to all the donors' generosity that the Friends of Endicott Park were able to make the following upgrades:

  • Replaced all the windows and doors (manufactured to resemble the originals)

  • Installed all new exterior siding

  • New stamped concrete floor with drainage for cleaning the barn

  • Installed running hot water

  • Rebuilt chicken coops and laying boxes

  • Built a new ramp with sides for Monty

  • Created new, larger stalls for the animals

  • Painted the entire exterior

  • Rebuilt viewing area so it is now handicap accessible

  • Installed new fencing around the perimeter of the barnyard

The Townley Family Children's Barn currently houses Jake the pony, Greta the horse, Monty the goat, Rosie and Angus, our pigs, Sitka and Edison, our sheep, Bonnie, Toby and Cinnamon, our bunnies, Mrs. the goose, and numerous chickens and ducks.

The Nature Center, completed by the Friends of Endicott Park in 2018, will be open to the public during the event.  The Nature Center showcases exhibitions that explore our interconnections with nature through exhibits, displays and interactive experiences. It offers educational programs to the general public, as well as use for summer camps, afterschool and school group programs and is handicap accessible.

Light refreshments will be served.

WE ASK THAT YOU RSVP BELOW SO WE HAVE AN IDEA OF EXPECTED TURNOUT.

Thank you and we look forward to seeing you at Endicott Park!
