Rosie

The Friends of Endicott Park as formed in 1995 to educate the general public about the purpose and history of Endicott Park, while promoting the accessibility to and appreciation of this space.

Becoming a member will help support the needs of the park, including feeding the animals, assisting with veterinary costs and facility enhancements.

In 2022, renovations were completed to the Townley Family Children’s Barn including new windows, floor, siding, and doors all which helped improve the conditions for both animals and the rangers who care for them. The barn is a unique historical structure and focal point of the park. It was in dire need of repair to keep the animals housed comfortably and to allow visitors to continue to experience and interact with farm animals housed on the property. We are so proud to have been able to bring the barn back to its former glory with the help and support our our members! Thank you!

In 2023, we are working on revamping the fitness trail. The trail will be cleared of overgrowth and brush and many pieces of new equipment will be installed. Signage will be updated so that the trail is more clearly marked, as well as exercises for each of the new pieces of fitness equipment. The current fitness trail is a 1.8 mile loop that starts next to the playground and follows the edges of the park all the way around.

Endicott Park Nature Center

In 2018, the Nature Center held its Grand Opening after two years of renovation and construction.  The Nature Center project could not have been completed without the support of the Friends members.

The barnyard pack has also recently welcomed a new goat named Monty. He is happy to have joined the family.
