The Friends of Endicott Park relaunched the beloved Gift Brick Campaign, which played a pivotal role in funding the construction of the Nature Center in 2017.  Over the years, visitors and members alike have expressed strong interest in contributing new bricks to the commemorative walkway leading to the Children’s Barn, a place that continues to welcome countless families and guests each year. Now, as we look toward the future, we invite you to once again leave your mark.

Why We Need Your Help

 

At the heart of Endicott Park lies the Carriage House, a cultural and historical landmark of the North Shore and the centerpiece of the park's educational and recreational offerings. While the building has been carefully preserved to maintain its historic character, significant repairs are now required to protect its structural integrity, improve energy efficiency, and ensure full accessibility for all.

 

Your support through the Gift Brick Campaign will help fund essential improvements, particularly to the Carriage House’s main entryway and façade, including:

• Main Entryway Doors: Restoration or replacement of the original doors, repair of the wooden structure and hardware, and energy-efficiency upgrades such as weatherstripping to reduce drafts.

• Façade Repairs: Careful restoration of the trim to protect the building from the elements and preserve its timeless charm.

A gift brick donation is a meaningful way for individuals, families, or organizations to support a cause while creating a lasting tribute in a public space.

The bricks cost $100 each and are 4” x 8” multicolored clay, laser inscribed, and epoxy filled to preserve the surface for years to come! Each brick can be printed with up to three lines of text with up to 14 characters per line. The new bricks will join the existing ones and will be used to widen the apron in front of the entrance to the barn. When you sponsor a brick, you are creating a lasting legacy. What a great way to recognize your family and friends, and also support the Danvers community.
